About Me

I taught HS Mathematics (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and AP Calculus AB & BC) over the course of 15 years in Austin, TX.  Excited to be teaching Robotics 1 & 2, Tech Apps, Animation & Gaming, and Graphic & Web Design at WRMS during the 2025-2026 school year.

Grew up in Houston, TX and realized early that mathematics was my language.  Received my B.A. in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and teaching certification through Texas State's masters program.

When I'm not teaching, I work on various projects (pottery, watercolors, garden, etc) and attend my husband's gigs (he's a really good guitarist).  Currently working on a textile piece.

I have a 24 yr son who was in the Air Force and now studying archeology at Columbia in New York, a 24 yr step-son who is a beautiful pianist, and a 17 yr step-daughter attending ACC for her senior year.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know the students and facilitating their creative and problem solving projects.
