Hi I'm Ms. Taaffe and I am thrilled to be joining the 4th grade team at Eanes Elementary this year! 

I was born and raised right here in Austin and actually grew up in Eanes ISD. I went to Bridge Point Elementary, Hill Country Middle School, and Westlake High School.  I was very involved in cheerleading, student council, and teen teaching! I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my degree in Applied Learning Development Early Childhood-6th Grade ESL. 

I am the third of four children in my family and my days were spent  running around the Westlake community with my three brothers. I have two older brothers, Philip and Robert, and one little brother, Michael, who is currently at Texas. 

When I'm not at school, I'm walking around the townlake trail, going to sports events, or spending time with my friends and family. Needless to say, I am a HUGE Texas Longhorn fan, so every Saturday you can find me at DKR cheering on the horns. I love watching all kinds of sports and spending time outdoors even in this Texas heat. 

I am so excited to be back in the Eanes community and am so looking forward to an amazing year!
