Math 8

Course Overview

Math 8 is designed to prepare a student for the rigors of Algebra 1. Various concepts are reviewed and extended. These include rational numbers and operations, proportionality, expressions and equations, geometry and measurement, data analysis, and financial literacy.

Required Materials/Class Supplies

charged iPad (daily)
binder with paper or a notebook & folder to organize notes and handouts
colorful pens and/or highlighters
pencils with erasers
Purchase of a TI-84 Plus graphing calculator is highly recommended. A limited number of students can check out TI-83 calculators from the HCMS library
