Live Oak Adventure involves all fifth grades from the Eanes School District in a two and one-half day residential-outdoor program.
Live Oak Adventure is designed to provide an intensive academic experience and an opportunity for the children to see their teacher as a person, their classmates as friends, and themselves as an important part of the larger community and the world.

8/8:15 am - Arrive at the elementary school of the Live Oak you are assigned. Please get dropped off.
9/9:15 am - Leave elementary school by bus. Head to Highland Lakes Camp!
10 am - Arrive at Highland Lakes Camp and activities begin!

*Students will spend the night at Highland lakes camp
8 am - Breakfast and activities for the day begin!
7:30 pm - Students head back to elementary school in busses.
8:30 pm - Students arrive to elementary school and need to be picked up.
*Students do NOT spend the night this day.
8/8:15 am - Arrive at the elementary school. Students can drive themselves.
11:30 am - Done with Live Oak!
*Students can go back to school if needed, but they are excused for the day to rest after a busy and tiring 3 days.
*Activities in schedule will not be the same for every Live Oak, however, the general timeline is the same.
