This will be my 19th year teaching and coaching, but my second year at West Ridge Middle School. For the previous two years I was able to coach and teach at Westlake High School where I taught Economics, Personal Finance and Psychology. I was also the Varsity Women's Basketball Assistant Coach and Assistant Women's Track coach. At West Ridge, I am excited to be teaching Physical Education as well as serving as the Women's Athletic Coordinator at West Ridge MS. I earned an MBA at the University of Houston-Victoria and an MEd at Houston Baptist University. I was also able to teach a masters- level course at Houston Baptist University.

I spent the first 10 years of my career in my hometown of Houston and love all professional teams from there. I enjoy traveling and have visited Egypt, Tunisia, Kenya, Colombia, France, Italy, Amsterdam, Greece, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Croatia.
