Welcome to 7th Grade ELA
Seventh Grade ELA uses an integrated approach that incorporates reading comprehension, reading analysis, and the writing process. The course expands on the regular seventh grade curriculum, stresses the mastery of the seventh grade state-required reading and writing objectives, and is paced to suit the ability level of each individual student.
Seventh grade ELA incorporates elements of language and writing skills, reading comprehension, and college readiness standards. The course is designed to help students master state mandated objectives and to prepare students for success in high school and beyond.
