Design & Technology

Course Overview

Design & Technology is an innovative class where students explore various fields in math, science, engineering, and technology through interactive design projects.  Students will work through the design process and build upon their understanding of working in the real world through applications that connect learning content to future careers.

This course introduces students to different professions that stem across the various fields of Design and Technology. We will explore units focusing on Architectural Designs, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Programming,  3D Design & Printing,  Rocketry (air powered) and Flight.

Required Materials/Class Supplies

• iPad (charged)

• Open mind & imagination, ready to engage in problem-solving

• Engineering notebook / electronic journal to record notes & observations

• Ear buds - wired

• Pen / pencil

• USB  thumb drive to copy working files so you have a backup and it is universally available.
