BATTLE OF THE BOOKS (BOB)

Battle of the Books (BOB) is a book club that competes against other middle schools to test their knowledge of the books they have read. Our BOB team battles against Dripping Springs Middle School and Sycamore Springs Middle School in four rounds, reading two books per round (see below).  We meet once-a-week during Cougar Time (6th period) to discuss the books we are reading. BOB is a great way to connect with other readers and discover new books!

Our BOB team consists of 6-8 graders who love reading and competing. Students who sign up for our BOB commit to:

• Read all the books and take notes

• Attend all the weekly meetings and participate in the discussions (we will meet every Tuesday during Cougar Time)

• Compete in the 3 battles. This means you will miss classes (8:30 - 12:30) on the 3 battle days and are responsible for missed work.
