NYT bestselling author, Scott Reintgen, will be visiting HCMS on October 7, the release date of The Rise of Neptune! We're his first stop on his book tour!
School visits are a huge part of what Scott Reintgen does as a full-time author. In the seven years since Nyxia released he's visited 700 schools around the country. That means he's spoken with 100,000+ students across 25 different states. His goal is getting our students to enjoy writing and reading—both pivotal skills to their future. He sees his visits as a lightning strike during the school year. For our hesitant readers, he is an invitation back to the table of reading. Countless times he's had teachers report that students who ‘never read’ are diving into books for the first time after one of his visits. For our hardcore readers and writers, he is an in-person validation of their own passions.
We've hosted Scott several times and each time he's created a new and energized buzz around reading and books! The kids absolutely love him! We're excited to host him again on the release day of book 2 in the Dragonship series! Scott is a great storyteller and your student will definitely want signed copies of his books so be sure to order yours today while supplies last!
