Honors Math 8

Course Overview

Math 8 Honors is an on-grade level academically advanced course designed to challenge students to understand rigorous content guided by the Grade 8 Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. Math 8 Honors is different in pace, depth, breadth, and/or complexity than Math 8 curriculum. This course is designed for the student who has demonstrated exceptional talent and inquisitiveness for the study of mathematics. The primary focal areas of this math course are proportionality; expressions, equations, relationships, and foundations of functions; and measurement and data. A graphing calculator will be used.
