Second Step is a district approved social–emotional learning (SEL) curriculum created by Committee for Children. It is used it to teach skills like emotion regulation, problem-solving, empathy, and responsible decision-making. 

The Bullying Prevention Unit is an add-on to the SEL curriculum. It teaches students how to recognize, refuse, and report bullying, as well as how to be supportive bystanders.
