Teachers will review the importance and value of using student data to inform instruction and differentiate learning experiences based on student strengths and needs
Teachers will understand some basic UDL tips or principles for assessment that are particularly important for the remote learning experience.
Teachers will explore features or tools within the three digital learning platforms that can be used for formative assessment and data gathering
Teachers will see examples of how the final data is compiled and discuss ways that it could be used to make instructional decisions
Secondary:
Determine what student data is and how it can be used
Define the Data Driven Instruction Framework
Discover and discuss ways to gather and use student data
Describe and discuss methods of differentiation
Create useful formative assessments to collect student data that can be used to develop differentiated student experiences
Investigate how to use Google Classroom for differentiation
