¡Bienvenidos!

My name is María Laura Frauwallner (Mrs. F) and I am so excited to be part of the Eagles family! I was born and raised in Venezuela and lived in Calgary-Canada for more than 12 years before moving to Austin in 2018. I have been married for 24 years and I have 2 kids; Luis (23) who works in Canada as a researcher and Laura (18) who graduated from Westlake High School and will be a Sophomore at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. This will be my fourth year working as a teacher. The first 2 years, I worked as a Third Grade Collaborative Teacher (Special Education) at Forest Trail Elementary and since last year I am the Third Grade Spanish Immersion Teacher at CCE. 

Teaching is my second career; I have a BSc. and MSc. in Chemical Engineering and I worked as an engineer for almost 20 years before joining the education world, which I love! I have fallen in love with the students, parents and the entire community and I can’t wait to see what new adventures this year will bring!
