Ms. Cavnar

Hi Cedar Creek families! This will be my second year as the Cedar Creek Counselor and I am excited to continue building relationships with students and families alike. My goal as a school counselor is to be a listener, flexible, positive, and a kind role model to staff and students alike. I believe that every child can achieve their full potential with a supportive environment, full of others who believe in them! My hope is that I can be a small, positive piece of your students educational journey.

I have lived in Austin the last four years and absolutely love walking around Town Lake with my dogs, Piper and Woody, playing tennis anywhere I can find a court, and trying all the delicious Mexican food. In addition to exploring Austin, I am a Disney girl who never turns down a trip to Orlando or Anaheim and I love to read RomCom books. I grew up in a very small town, Menard, then moved to the DFW area where I went to high school and college. I graduated from Tarleton State University with my undergraduate degree and Texas A&M with my masters in school counseling! WHOOP!
