Hello! Hola!
I am so exited to be joining the Cedar Creek community this year as the School Based Therapist. I have served as the school-based therapist at both Eanes Elementary and Valley View Elementary over the years, and this year marks my 13th year in the Eanes ISD community.
I grew up in Buda and Austin, attending St. Stephen’s Episcopal School for middle and high school. I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown with a double major in Anthropology and Spanish. While in college, I studied abroad in Granada, Spain and fell in love with the Spanish language, culture and flamenco! I went on to pursue my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and began serving in schools in the Austin area right away.
My husband Tommy and I live in my childhood home with our 3 children, Carter, Reese and Isla. We are a busy family, running here, there and everywhere for many sports and activities! My favorite way to unwind is to take a bubble bath or splurge and get a massage! When I’m not at school, I love to take walks in our neighborhood, explore (places close by or far away too!) and spend time with our pets (2 dogs (Hays and Charlie) 2 cats (Romeo and Chili) and 1 guinea pig (Merlin).
