I am thrilled to be at Barton Creek for my seventh school year! A little about me...

I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in English and received my Masters of Education in Counseling from Texas State University. In addition to school counseling, I have worked as a Parent Support Specialist and also as a private therapist. I believe helping our children learn resiliency, self-compassion and empathy for others are skills that are imperative in our ever-changing world. I want our students to feel seen, love learning and feel connected here. 

I have four amazing children. My oldest daughter, Lauren, is newly married and lives in  Dallas. My second daughter, Caroline, graduated from the University of Texas and lives and works in Austin with her husband, Trey. They are expecting their first baby in December and we are thrilled! My son, Luke, is a senior majoring in Advertising/PR at The University of Arkansas. My youngest son, Jack, will be a senior at WHS.

 I love spending time with my family and friends, going to the greenbelt with my dog, Clark, reading, and painting with watercolors.
