All participating athletes are required to have completed one of the following approved firearm safety courses.: 

The SAFE Certification requires the completion of the online AND shooting range certification programs to earn the SAFE Certificate.  The team's coaches run the field day, so timing is flexible.  This certificate is only good for high school shooting sports.  

The Hunter Education/Firearms Safety Certification for Youth through the DNR is a better option if you also intend on hunting.  The West End Trap Club in Eagan, where we shoot, hosts a DNR Firearms coarse every February that concludes prior to the start of the spring season.  Click on the links below to learn more.
