Mr. Olson

Welcome!

Hi, I'm Mr. Olson. I have been a teacher for 26 fabulous years. I have been teaching in Emmetsburg for 14 years. I grew up in many places, but I graduated from Mason City, Iowa. I went to Iowa Lakes for 2 years and then transferred to the University of Northern Iowa. After graduation, I taught in San Antonio for 3 years, then in Kansas for 9 years. I have 2 children. My daughter, Bryar, and my son, Gabriel. I love to read and spend time with my friends and family. I really enjoy doing STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities with students. I have learned a lot about the positives of failure. It is exciting to watch them work with one another to solve problems using the engineering design process.
