West STEM Camp

Welcome to the West Elementary After-School STEM Camp webpage. The camp’s purpose is to provide experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Students engage in hands-on, project-based learning in the area of engineering. Students work together in groups to answer questions like, “How large should I make the canopy of this parachute?” or “What material should I use for the blades of my windmill?” The students will collaborate, think critically and creatively, and communicate with other members of their teams.
