Hello,

My name is Julianne Whitmore. Welcome to the 2024-25' school year at Kingswood Elementary. This will be my third year at Kingswood. Previously, I taught at West Point Elementary for 12 years. I have been teaching special education for 26 years. I have been with the Dysart Unified School District for 16 years and taught in the Glendale Elementary District for 10 years. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Special Education, Master's Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University.

I have two awesome daughters who have blessed me with 11 beautiful grandchildren and two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. When I'm not teaching, I am outdoors working on my horse-ranch. I have a passion for horses and love horseback riding, exploring our gorgeous beautiful desert on the 4-wheelers and sighting seeing places in Arizona I have never visited. I truly enjoy doing anything outdoors when time allows. My kids and horses keep me busy.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child. I am also very excited to be given the opportunity of teaching our wonderful 3rd-5th grade students in the Structured Teaching Classroom this year. I am looking forward to this journey with all our very special students. I hope to make this year fun and exciting while each child explores their gifts, talents, and strengths!
