Mrs. Whetsell

My name is Susan Whetsell, and I am delighted to be your child's Kindergarten teacher. Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings, making friends, and learning many new things. Our days will be filled with many experiences and opportunities for growth.

This is my Twenty fourth year of teaching and my eighth year teaching Kindergarten here in the Dysart district. Prior to working for Dysart, I taught Kindergarten in Phoenix and Buffalo, New York, which is my hometown. Besides teaching Kindergarten, I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, First, and Second grades.

I have two beautiful daughters who keep me very busy. I have my Masters degree in Literacy and Classroom Reading. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, shopping, and reading.
