The student shall complete the required number (2) of civic engagement activities as for purposes of demonstrating civic literacy.
These activities must be completed outside the school day
Students will be required to show proof of participation in these approved Civic Engagement Activities

Serving on site council
Member of a commission or Youth Advisory Board
Tribal Council
Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts
Attend at least two public meetings (DUSD Governing Board, Surprise City Council)
Volunteering on a political campaign
Attend a protest, march, or demonstration
Participation in a voter registration, voter education, or get-out the vote campaign
