Class Overview

Students will explore the artistic processes by creating, presenting, responding, and connecting through visual arts. This will include age-appropriate instruction in painting, drawing, 3D/Mixed Media, and various media. Students will develop new skills through engaging, hands-on experiences in the arts. Students will have the opportunity to learn about various artists, art history, art movements, and mediums.

Hello Mustangs! And welcome to my website.

My name is Jody Welsch, and I am super excited to introduce art and further explore art with the students of Ashton Ranch.

I have a B.S. from Northern Arizona University. I am an avid hiker and outdoors person. I love spending time with my family (husband and daughter), creating art, visiting museums, and exploring new destinations.

I love teaching and learning new things. I am excited to pass on my knowledge of art to students.
