Reading/Writing
We are learning about informational text (biographies) and writing an informative sentence.
New sight words: eat, soon, please, our, out
We are learning to read long i words with a "silent e" at the end. Some of these words are like, bike, lime, side, etc...
Math
We are learning our teen numbers 11 - 20. A teen number is made up of a "ten" and some "ones."
For example, 16 is 10 + 6
Social Studies
We will learn about American symbols such as the Statue of Liberty, Mt. Rushmore, the bald eagle, our flag, etc...
Science
We will learn all plants.
