Make Up Work Options

Each day that you are absent you lose participation points for not being active in class that day. In order to retrieve those points, you must first get your absence excused (unexcused absences may not be made up).

LATE PROJECTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICY DESCRIBED IN YOUR SYLLABI

Article Review:

This can only be done if you have missed more than 2 days and have attended at least two Wednesday Conditioning session.

1. Print out a dance article from the internet.

2. Write in paragraph form with complete sentences, correct spelling, and correct grammar.

3. Must be typed

4. Write a minimum of 1.5 pages Double Spaced per absence

5. Follow Format Below:

a. Title Page

i. Name of article or program your reviewing

ii. Author

iii. Your Name

iv. Date

v. Class Period

vi. Write “make-up work”

b. Review

i. Give an overview of the information you collected. Write in your own words. Use quotation marks when quoting from the article or book. Plagiarism is illegal.

c. Personal Reactions

i. Discuss why you chose this topic

ii. Explain what you gained by studying this topic
