Hi! My name is Mrs. Moore, and I am the 2D art teacher (and one class of Ceramics 1/2), here at Shadow Ridge High School!

This is my 6th year in the Dysart Unified School District, and my second year at Shadow Ridge. I graduated from Arizona State University, with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts Education - through both the Herberger School of Arts, as well as the Mary Lou Fulton teacher's college. My art studio studies included - painting, drawing, woodwork, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics. I chose to emphasize mainly in drawing and ceramics while at ASU.

I was born and raised in Southern California, and relocated to Phoenix 19 years ago. I have a husband and 3 boys, who all keep me busy and on my toes, but who I also absolutely love and adore. We all love to travel, and have been fortunate to travel much of U.S. and the U.K. and Ireland (as that's where my husband is from). We love the outdoors, and try to get out to the sunny beaches of San Diego, and the red rock and trees of Sedona and Flagstaff as much as possible. We also love to run the trails here in the Valley, and especially the White Tanks. I'm a huge music fan as well, and try to see as many live performances as I can!

Art and teaching are my passion, and I'm so happy to be able to share both with you! I look forward to this year, and to seeing the growth, successes, and the creativity of everyone! Art is not always easy, but you can have fun doing it!
