Ms. Green

My name is Helen Green, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher! We are going to have a wonderful year full of discovery, adventure, learning, and laughing. My educational philosophy is that every child can learn, and learning should be real, hands-on, engaging, and enduring. No one knows your child as you do. I'm looking forward to partnering with you in the education of him or her. I hope that you feel comfortable to call me with any questions or concerns that you have. My door will always be open to you.

I've lived here in Arizona for close to 30 years. I raised two great kids, Ryan and Rachel. They are now grown. Now, I live with my dog, Daisy, and two cats, MuShu and Reecy. I have been teaching in the public schools for nine years. Before that, I taught piano and flute lessons from my home. You can see that teaching is in my blood. It's what I love!

When I'm not working, I love to be outdoors. You'll find me hiking in our beautiful desert, relaxing by a pool with a good book, walking my dog, or even just staring at the clouds, imaging patterns in them and watching them drift across the sky.

So, here we go on the roller coaster of 3rd grade. It will be an amazing adventure. Let's do this!
