Homework

Every Monday, your child's teacher will give your child a homework packet. The homework packet needs to be completed and brought back to school on Friday. Every night students and parents are expected to read together for 20 minutes. The back pages of the homework packet are your child’s reading log which have directions that explain the expectations of returning the reading slips daily. Along with the reading each night, the homework packet will provide activities to help your child study for their spelling test on Friday as well as in reviewing important skills that are taught in second grade. Please help monitor your child’s homework to support their learning progress.
