The Divine Word Mission Seminary (popularly known as Christ the King Mission Seminary- CKMS) is a Roman Catholic Seminary located in Quezon City, Philippines. It is being administered by the Divine Word Missionaries, more popularly known as the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). This academic institution offers a seminary track of Senior High, an undergraduate course in A.B Philosophy, and a graduate program in M.A Philosophy. Establish in 1933 by Fr. Theodore Buttenbruch, one of the pioneer SVD missionaries in the Philippines. The Seminary Building which has a castle-like architecture is now named as Buttenbruch Building, honoring the founder of DWMS.
This seminary provides aspiring candidates for the religious life and priesthood, the initial spiritual, academic, human, and community formation. Since its establishment as a pioneer missionary seminary in the Philippines, Divine Word Mission Seminary has produced a lot of bishops, priests, religious brothers/sisters, and lay faithful who are successful in various fields.
