FINNEMANN BUILDING

The Finnemann Building is second oldest building in the Christ the King Mission Seminary compound, and it was completed in the 1930s. With the original name long forgotten, the building was renamed after Bishop Wilhelm Finnemann (1882-1942), who had served as the auxiliary bishop of Manila in 1929, the chairman of the first National Eucharistic Congress in 1929, and the apostolic vicar of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, from 1936 to 1942.

This building was renovated few years ago for retreats and spirituality formation. But before, this building was a seminary house catering collegian seminarian.

MISSION HOME

The Mission Home is the "pre-departure" area of SVD missionaries waiting for their travel to their assigned mission areas. It is their home as they prepare themselves for the challenging task of bringing God's Word the whole world as Divine Word Missionaries. This is also the resting place of those who are coming home to the Philippines for their well-deserved home vacation after a strenuous and challenging mission in different parts of the world.

MISSION OFFICE

SVD Mission Office was primarily established to help in the evangelical and missionary task of the Church and of the Society through the active  participation of our lay mission partners and collaborators.  It aims to contribute in the mission animation of the SVD through various programs and activities that promote awareness in the Church mission.

VILLA CRISTO REY

Villa Cristo Rey (VCR) is located at the heart of the Christ the King Seminary compound. It is a retirement and nursing home for the sick and the retired SVD Missionaries, who after dedicating the best years of their lives working in various parts of the Lord’s vineyard, are now old and infirm to continue in the active service. They now continue this service thru prayer and meditation, which in itself is as important as active service.
