Vincent (Vinnie) Flores is the EducationUSA Regional Educational Advising Coordinator for Northeast Asia and the Pacific. His region covers Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, and the Pacific Islands. Originally from Sinajana, Guam, Vincent first came to Korea as a taekwondo competitor, and eventually returned as a Fulbright grantee in 2000. He has lived in South Korea for over 20 years working in various positions in the field of education, including over eight years teaching in the city of Pohang, and as an EducationUSA adviser and the English Program Manager at the Korea Fulbright Commission. Throughout his career, Vincent has worked extensively to build youth programs that encourage creativity, provide unique educational opportunities, and promote cultural exchange. He is particularly interested in building educational opportunities in alternative markets outside of capital cities, and for underserved communities.
Serena has worked as an art director in Kpop music videos and commercials for over 9 years. Working with multiple artists and brands like NCT 127, Taemin, Heineken, Ikea, Samsung, CGV, and more, her experience in diverse backgrounds has made her business grow without limits. Collaborative works with Lamborghini, Bugatti, Ferrari, and Rolls Royce in Chicago, New York, and Monaco and also multiple exhibitions around the world, lead her to be an artist that is not only avant-garde itself but an art director that understands the needs of many companies and brands. Before working as an art director, Serena has also been a part of GUCCI Global, as a VMD(Visual Merchandising Director). These past experiences have all made Serena build her company “C.M.K Design Consulting Firm” into what it is today.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network around the world, which promotes U.S. higher education and supports students who look for opportunities to study in post-secondary institutions in the United States. EducationUSA Korea offers services such as 1:1 and group advising, school outreach, and US college fairs. They currently provide monthly webinars introducing diverse fields of studies, related industries, and career opportunities.

Andy Song is the country director of INDITEX KOREA, responsible for P&L, strategic direction, vision, growth, and performance of Inditex Korea. Inditex is one of the world's largest fashion retailers, comes from Spain, with seven brands (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, and Zara Home) and has 28Billion euros (USD 29.5Billion) sales annually. Andy Song worked with Inditex since 2008, experienced and worked in several different countries (Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and NZ) with different roles, and was assigned as Korea country director from Mar2021. Currently, Andy Song is studying MBA at Seoul University, specializing in fashion, and holds a BA in hospitality and tourism management degree from Cesar Ritz University, Switzerland
Ryan Hwang is currently the VP of Operations at STEDU Association, a 501c3 registered nonprofit. Despite his academic endeavors, he displays commitment and effective leadership within STEDU. In half a year, he was able to cooperatively lead efforts to secure partnerships with sponsors such as Crimson Education and Google, as well as rebranding and restructuring the organization. Hi, my name is Andrew. I first came to the United States when I was 11. I went to elementary school in Maryland, high school in Michigan and Oregon and I came to Boston for Undergraduate in 2002. I was a pre-med student when I studied at Boston University but as I had an interest in Business, I graduated also with a Business minor. Utilizing my background in science and business, I worked for L'Oreal as a Regulatory Specialist but because I found a passion for education, I came back to Boston in 2014 for an MEd in Educational Leadership. Prior to joining MCPHS, I worked with international students around the world to help them matriculate to their dream colleges, especially in the Boston-Cambridge area and I was most happy when my students achieved their academic goals.
Jeff Boda has worked as a journalist since graduating from university in 1994. He’s worked as a designer, art director, and editor, including a five-year stint as an international sports editor. He currently works as an editor with The New York Times’s International Desk. In addition, he has written about beverages that only adults get to drink. An American, he has worked overseas for the past 17 years, including in Seoul since last year. s.
Eunkoo LEE is Co-Founder and Co-President at Freedom Speakers International (formerly the Teach North Korean Refugees Global Education Center). She worked at the Education Support Center for North Korean Migrants under KEDI (2010-2016) as a researcher for integration process for the youth. In 2018, Eunkoo was selected to take part in the International Visitor Leadership Program organized by the U.S. Department of State, a premier professional exchange program for current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience. Also she received a work excellence award from Ministry of Education in 2012. She got master degree in Sheffield University in 2011. She is currently a PhD candidate majoring in international relations at Ewha Womens University, South Korea.
Javier Perez is an Argentina national with extensive work experience in the automotive industry. His professional education background started with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2003 followed by a Master's in Management in 2021. Javier’s career started in an automotive OEM, followed by different positions in automotive suppliers in different countries (Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, China and Korea). In his current role of COO at LG-Magna Powertrain, he oversees the operations of 2 manufacturing sites in Asia producing electric motors and electronic components for battery electric vehicles, which are expected to replace conventional fuel engines.
Dr. Jill Dunbar has been a registered Clinical Psychologist for 7 years. She received her doctorate and training in the UK. She worked in mental health services in Scotland for 10 years before moving to Korea. She works primarily with teenagers and adults. In addition to mental health, she also has a specialist interest in neuropsychology and experience working in neurology and neurosurgery settings. She is currently a senior therapist at Adaptable Human Solutions and sees clients both online and in Seoul. She is also the lead of the intern and resident team and provides clinical supervision to therapists in training.
Andy Parsons is deputy Asia editor for The New York Times, based in Seoul. He has been a journalist for more than 20 years, working first at The Miami Herald and The Washington Post before joining The Times in 2008 in New York. In his current role, he oversees coverage of Japan, India and Australia and helps manage operations of The Times's Seoul editing hub.
