What are we doing in math?

We will:

• Review and practice what we have learned about addition, subtraction, rounding, and representing/solving 2-step story problems.

• Demonstrate (on the unit assessment) what we have learned about addition, subtraction, rounding, and representing/solving 2-step story problems.

• Explore division and begin making the connection with multiplication.

• Learn and practice a variety of math skills/concepts, differentiated according to students' individual levels of progress (using the online programs Matific, Splash, Amplify, and IXL).

• Engage in puzzles and problem-solving tasks.

• Play math games to strengthen skills and conceptual understanding.
