We will:
Continue our unit, "Fractions as Numbers."
Use unit fractions to build other fractions and whole numbers.
Work with fractions on the number line.
Partition number lines to locate unit fractions.
Recognize fractions that are equivalent to whole numbers and use unit fractions to locate whole numbers on the number line.
Learn and practice a variety of math skills/concepts, differentiated according to students' individual levels of progress (using the online programs Matific, Splash, Amplify, Happy Numbers, and IXL).
Explore geometry concepts on Happy Numbers.
Explore fraction concepts using the online program Frax.
Engage in puzzles and problem-solving tasks.
Play math games to strengthen skills and conceptual understanding.
