We will:
Finish our unit, "Fractions as Numbers."
Review and practice fraction identification, representation, equivalence, and comparison.
Demonstrate the ability to identify, represent, and work with fractions in diagrams and on number lines; identify and generate equivalent fractions; and compare fractions (complete the unit assessment).
Review 3rd-grade skills and concepts and practice completing sample problems from the Cognia state test.
Learn and practice a variety of math skills/concepts, differentiated according to students' individual levels of progress (using the online programs Matific, Splash, Amplify, Happy Numbers, and IXL).
Practice basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.
Practice addition and subtraction within 999; division within 100; and multiplication with single digits, multiples of ten, and smaller 2-digit numbers.
Explore geometry concepts on Happy Numbers and Splash.
Explore fraction concepts using the online program Frax.
Engage in puzzles and problem-solving tasks.
Play math games to strengthen skills and conceptual understanding.
