About Me

Hello! I am a classroom teacher at Twin Valley Elementary School in beautiful Wilmington, Vermont. This is my seventeenth year teaching in the Windham Southwest Supervisory Union school district! This year, I am teaching 3rd grade math and science.  I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education (with a second major in English) from Keene State College, and I have a master's degree in education from Walden University, where I specialized in elementary reading and literacy. Some other things to know about me: I love working with children and watching them grow and learn. I also love spending time with my family, including my husband, Chris, my eleven-year-old son, Ben, my two cats, Lucifer and Ollie, and my guinea pigs, Tea and Almond. In my spare time, I like to read, watch spooky movies, and travel. And another thing you'll learn quickly if you get to know me: I just LOVE Harry Potter!
