Important Dates:

Check back in early March for interviews at Griffiths and Stauffer.

If you are an 8th grader who is interested in WHS AVID and does not attend Griffiths or Stauffer, please email aharris@dusd.net to arrange an interview date and time.

Interview Questions

1. Briefly explain your most meaningful experience, inside or outside of school.

2. What three (3) adjectives best describe the kind of person you are?

3. Describe your study habits at school and at home. Include study times, places, and people who help you with your work, and your preference to work independently or collaboratively in a group.

4. What do you do when you are struggling in an academic class?

5. Are you currently enrolled in AVID? If so, how has AVID helped you to succeed? If not, what interests you about AVID?

6. Write out any questions you have about the AVID program.
