COURSE DESCRIPTION:  

Course Description
This course is designed to help students learn to speak, read, and write in Spanish while exploring the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Students will engage in interactive activities, practice conversational skills, and develop foundational grammar and vocabulary. The course will also include cultural lessons to enhance understanding and appreciation of the diverse Spanish-speaking world. In addition, students will cover the following topics throughout the year to prepare for the AP Exam in May:

1. Global challenges (Los desafíos mundiales)

2. Science and technology (La ciencia y la tecnología)

3. Contemporary life (La vida contemporánea)

4. Personal and public identities (Las identidades personales y públicas)

5. Families and communities (Las familias y las comunidades)

6. Beauty and aesthetics (La belleza y la estética)
