ELA - This course will target students’ growth in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Through the use of fiction and nonfiction reading instruction, students will improve reading strategies, critical thinking skills, and vocabulary usage.

Writing - The focus of writing will be on narrative, informational, and argumentative writing. A variety of literature and informational texts will serve as models to improve students' grammar usage, spelling, and writing skills.
