Hi there, I'm Mrs. Sarmiento and I am excited to have you join my class!

I am entering my fifth year of teaching and this will be my second year at Denair Middle School. I have experience teaching multiple subjects in the third through 8th grades and one thing is undeniably clear... middle schoolers are AWESOME!

I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University Stanislaus and I am currently pursuing my master's degree from there too.

I am married and have two great kids who also attend school in Denair. In my spare time, I enjoy beach days, hiking, exercising, cooking, reading, and family movie nights.
