Helpful Tips as you work at school and learn at home!

  • Google Read & Write: Remember to utilize your supports at home! Voice to text, text to speech, word prediction, check your work, and more!

  • Grammarly.com: Copy and paste or upload your work into Grammarly (must have an account, they are free!) to check for grammar and spelling errors. It will help you correct your work, and you simply copy and paste back into your google doc!

  • Speech to Text on google doc's: Having trouble getting your thoughts down on paper? Say it out loud and let your computer do the rest! Open a google doc, go to tools, and click on voicetyping. A microphone will show up on your screen, click it, and when it turns red, start talking and the text will appear! Make sure to re-read, and check your grammar and punctuation afterward. It will sometimes goof up a little, just like us humans :)

  • Multiplication Charts: If Ms. Rose or myself have approved you to use these in class, you may search on the internet to find a chart that you like. Try to do the math in your head or on paper first, then use your supports!

More to come soon!
