What is Progress Monitoring?Progress monitoring involves regularly administering short assessments to monitor how your student is developing in specific skills. This allows us to identify areas where they are excelling and where they might need extra support. How We Use Progress Monitoring- Assessment Tool: We use easyCBM - a research-based assessment - to measure students’ progress in comprehension, vocabulary, and oral reading fluency as needed.
- Frequency: These assessments are administered after each month that intervention services have been received.
- Data Analysis: We analyze the data by plotting scores on a graph to see if a student is making adequate progress and comparing it to normative growth trends.
