Introduction

The purpose of this site it to inform people about the outcome of our curriculum review and what our curriculum in the Junior school will look like. 

On the Homepage you will see our curriculum framework in visual form - It features our Whare - Whakaruruhau.  Whakaruruhau is one of the first buildings that you will see upon entering our school grounds through the main entrance and expresses the importance mātauranga Māori has at DHS.  At the  top of the Whare is our curriculum vision and below it are all of the aspects that we weave together to help achieve that vision - from the strategic goals, te tiriti o Waitangi principles to our school values.

You can navigate your way through the framework by scrolling down on the homepage and clicking on any of the buttons, for example, Tapa whā and that will take you to a page that unpacks and describes  what that aspect of our framework is about.

You can then click on the button 'click here to view framework' and that will return you to the framework visual.
