NASA at Home

Did you know NASA studies more than just rockets and stars?

NASA scientists study what's happening on Earth too!

They are out in the field learning new things and taking data in journals and log books.

You can do what they are doing right at home!

You can be an astronomer!

You can keep a moon journal to track the moon’s movement and phases. Simply note the date, look outside each night and record your observations in your own moon journal!

Remember! Your journals don’t need to be fancy or expensive. A scientist’s first tool is making observations. Take good notes and you are on your way!
