Definitions

Gravity: The force that attracts a physical body towards the center of the Earth (or another massive physical body)

Mass: A measure of how much matter is in an object

Matter: The atoms (small particles made of protons, neutrons, and electrons) that make up everything

Units: The standard used for making comparisons in measurement

: An individual part

Volume: A measure of the amount of space taken up by an object

Water Displacement: When putting an object in water, the volume of that object takes the place of some of the water causing the water to move upwards/outwards
