REMINDERS

• The Fundraiser Point can only be earned with whole-department fundraisers, aka the Fall Fundraiser and the Poinsettia Sale. Booster fundraisers are not applicable.

• Hours to earn your Service Point MUST be accrued with community service that serves the Music Dept. Service activities include any actions undertaken by the student without any direct compensation or benefit to the individual performing the service. Check with your director ahead of time.

• The Community Service Form MUST be submitted within FIVE days of the volunteer date to count.

National Awards

Every May, the Music Department gives out the following National Awards to our graduating Seniors. For 2026, we are honoring: 

Gilmore Service Award - Holly Decker

Louis Armstrong Jazz Award - Will Liles

J. P. Sousa Band Award - Katherine Newbanks

National Orchestra Award - Ella Bolinger

National School Choral Award - Ava Cunningham

Woody Herman Jazz Award - Cody Brewer (not pictured)

Scholarships

The Music Department is honored to award the following two Scholarships for 2026:

Hibbets Family Memorial Scholarship - Katherine Newbanks

Castronovo Memorial Scholarship - Aubree Williams
