Dr. Gigi CT AU-YEUNG Ph.D
is a multi-disciplinaries consultant and a multi-ventures business owner, in the fields of science, innovation and technology (specialized in biotechnology, greentech, sustainability, R&D commercialization, product and business development). Dr. Gigi’s 15+ years of experience has always been recognized for her ability to integrate her broad industries’ know-how, stakeholder management and communication skills, high standard of deliverables quality, innovative thinking and effective execution, and global outlook to add significant values and energies onto projects and companies which she endeavors to support and grow.
At the age of 26, Gigi obtained her Ph.D. from Singapore Nanyang Technological University-School of Material Science Engineering in Biomedical materials, thesis in Stem Cell Biophysics for Cardiac Regenerative Medicine (Attachment at Technion Israel Institute of Technology). Prior to her Ph.D., she obtained her B.Eng. (Hon1, Dean’s List) from Hong Kong Polytechnic University- Department of Mechanical Engineering in Product Analysis with Engineering Design (Exchange program at Technological University Dublin).
Dr. AU-YEUNG worked as a post-grad Project Officer in Singapore and Israel for 5 years, then returned to Hong Kong to contribute to the innovation scene of her hometown. Since 2015, she has built and grown numerous tech-startups, social-enterprises, new economy businesses and RnD institutes. She has also been lecturer, instructor and research fellow at several higher education institutes; as well as advisor, consultant and analyst on innovation and technology-related companies and projects.
Involving also actively in community and voluntary services, education and mentoring, and government appointments, Dr. Gigi’s social dedication, academic achievement, research excellence and entrepreneurship have earned her 30+ prestigious scholarships and awards, allowing her being reported or invited as speaker at 100+ media and seminars. Her ultimate life goal is to achieve IKIGAI and holistic wellness, and bring positive impact to people around and this world, at her highest level of being and power.
