Duncanville ISD Restorative Practices Specialists collaborate with campus administrators, general education teachers and staff to proactively intervene in the behavioral needs of general education students to support Behavior Response to Intervention (RTI). Specialists enhance staff and students' social, emotional, behavioral and academic achievement by introducing, training, facilitating, and coordinating Restorative Practices (RP).

We provide targeted interventions for teachers and staff, based on restorative principles that positively impact the culture and climate of campuses, with a focus on fidelity and intentionality to support students with severe and chronic problems that may lead to disciplinary issues or referrals.

Through the process of restorative practices, we aim to promote social and emotional wellness, restoration, repair, and the ability to manage conflict, while building and sustaining relationships.
