The 2026 theme, Transform Your Future, celebrates engineering's impact on our world and future. Submissions should demonstrate how your group:
designs/innovates for a better tomorrow
empowers students to grow, lead and engineer change
builds inclusive, sustainable or impactful futures
demonstrates how engineering transforms lives- yours, your peers', or your community's
You are encouraged to explicitly reference the theme in your visuals, narrative, or creative choices!

Submissions will be judged by members of our distinguished Engineering Alumni Council and evaluated on theme integration, creativity, clarity, quality and impact. See below for the full evaluation rubric. Winners will be announced during National Engineers Week (Feb 22-28, 2026) and top entries will be featured on the Pratt website and social media. This is a great opportunity to showcase your group to the Pratt Community and beyond.

Video Reqs 🎥 - $500
VIDEO - MUST:
a. Be original content produced by your group
b. Include a short description (in the video or separate document) explaining theme connection - Transform Your Future
c. Use .mp4 or .mov formats and be ≤ 2 minutes
d. Title file- GroupName_Video26 (ex: ProjectTadpole_Video26)

Photo Reqs 📸 - $200
PHOTO - MUST:
a. Submit one high-resolution .JPEG or .PNG (single image or collage)
b. Capture the essence of your group - projects, events, community engagement, innovation, etc.
c. Include a caption and short statement linking the photo to the theme Transform Your Future.
e. Title file- GroupName_Photo26 (ex: ProjectTadpole_Photo26)

Top 5 List Reqs 🏆 - $200
TOP 5 LIST - MUST:
a. Be exactly five items, max 400 words. May include an image.
b. Your list can be fun, inspirational or informational and connect to the theme Transform Your Future. For example:

Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated by members of the Engineering Alumni Council based on:

Clarity of Message: How effectively the group is showcased
Visual or Written Quality: Technical execution appropriate to the category
Impact: Ability to inspire, inform, or highlight engineering’s transformative power

THE FINE PRINT & Resources
Submissions must follow the Duke Community Standard and applicable laws.
No copyrighted material unless you own the rights.
No professional/paid assistance - work must be produced by group members.
By submitting, groups grant Duke University permission to use entries indefinitely for promotional and educational purposes.
Free Duke resources include The LINK for borrowing media equipment and Multimedia Project Studio (Bostock Library) for photo, video and graphic design tools.
Prize funds will be deposited into the winning group's Pratt account.
The Pratt Office of Student Affairs is offering a 'call for proposals' to Pratt recognized student groups. See details below:
The proposal should request smaller ticket items (up to $500) that could improve operations and/or member relations within a group. 'Smaller ticket items' include printing costs, social events, food at a general body meeting, event supplies, etc. The proposals are not meant for large group travel requests, individual student projects, or items that exceed $500.
Proposals are due Friday, February 28th. Please allow at least one week for review/decision.
