This year’s Sophomore English class is designed to use and build on the curriculum that you learned last year as Freshmen. Through close analysis of novels, short stories and works of nonfiction, we will work to build your skills as both writers and readers. Along with these skills, we will also practice active listening, public speaking, and different methods of research in accordance with the newly implemented Common Core Standards.
