Curriculum

• Reading: Benchmark Advance, reading strategies instruction

• Writing: Writer’s Workshop using Lucy Calkins- daily with various genres of writing, structured conferences, daily language practice

• Math: Eureka Math- differentiation will occur within the classroom by using ACCLAIM strategies

• Science: Twig Science

• Social Studies: TCI Focus on Continuity and Change: students will describe physical and human geography, describe American Indian nations, sequence local historical events, understand the role of rules and laws, and demonstrate basic economic reasoning skills.
