ARCHERY SCHEDULE:
Information Meeting - Lunchtime, Wednesday Nov 19th in the gym.
Freshman Archery Physical Education: 12/1-12/19
There will be optional practice time during access and lunch time.
Tryouts: Dec 10-11, during Access
Practice will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays during Access
Friday Practices: TBA

Other Important Information:
Archery is NOT a sanction CIF Sport
Archery does not meet the requirements for PE credit
NO equipment is needed, just hard work, dedication, discpline and a FIRE spirit
Academic Archer -April 1 st ( 3.25 GPA to qualify)

1. Regular Practices: Teams hold regular practice sessions to develop archery skills, improve accuracy, and build teamwork.
2. Skill Development: Training includes lessons on proper form, equipment handling, and safety measures.
3. Physical Fitness: Team members often engage in exercises to improve strength and focus, which are crucial for archery.
Competitions:
1. Local and State Tournaments: Teams can participate in various competitions, starting at local levels and advancing to state and national events.
2. Scoring and Awards: Competitions are typically based on individual and team scores, with awards for top performers.
