Our Shared Read Alouds
This short novel combines the learning from our Identity Unit with our current reading strategies. Students will apply what they have learned about characters, settings, problems, solutions, and themes to this story.
In this story, Max is lost when his best and only true friend moves away. He conducts an "experiment" to find a new friend.
Max discovers that "fitting in" may not be the solution to his problems.
